Just for my own sanity to confirm, if you click on/in the Crashlands window upon this happening, does the game function properly?

My game is set to fullscreen and does seem to force itself into a pseudo-windowed mode until I interact with the game and then it changes to the proper size and functions as expected.

Yes it does, as in the game runs and the options as in boxes you can interact due function even when the mouse is outside the window. Just won't let me reach them in the title screen.

If you can get me a video of it happening, I can submit this to Shi and see if we can track down where the issue in the code is.

I'm getting similar but different experiences, and I don't think you're the first person to bring this up, we just haven't been able to narrow down the root cause.

I tried the glitch out and yeah, is due to focus window, if I boot up the game and focus on another window, I tried more specifically windowed and it's actually a full screen problem.

When I focus on a fullscreen app, the Game Glitches in locking to it's full screen, forcing it to be windowed.

I'll let the team know and see if there's a simple solution on our end. If not, your best bet may be to open Crashlands before opening anything else in full screen

Well yeah that is what I do, It's incovient and likely very unititve for someone who doesn't know this, so maybe add a warning to it for those who are likely suffering from being unable to really play the game due to not knowing how to remove full-screen in that way and how to solve it.
