I have been picking up Crashlands (iPad) again and an finally in the third biome. Progress went on nicely until I hit a roadblock: I am not able to find a Lyff egg and thus can't build a refinery or an ice axe. Both are required for mission progress now. My progress in the game is stalled for weeks now. I start the game, go to the usual Lyff hideouts, do what's necessary to convince the larger specimens to give up their potential offspring, but no success. I do not seem to be alone, since there are two Reddit threads with the subject. I can't see a dropped-off Lyff egg on the map either, as was mentioned in one of theose threads.
