second crash a few rounds later near the end of the round app hung with no error. no dmp file generated.

Excellent! Not in the sense that this is good that it's happening, but in that it means we've got more data points for Shi to look into.
Hello, we have updated the Steam version to 0.1.41-rc.13. Can you please check if that version fares any better for the crash?
