Currency/prices and the difficulty in the current build feels bad. There are two options that are clearly the standard "easy" vs "hard" paths, but the "hard" path rewards barely more money most of the time. Even after taking every hard battle so far, the shop prices are so high that I can barely afford a single item every time.
In my opinion, a good roguelike should be balanced so that the "normal" path rewards allow you to buy an item ~50-100% of the time depending on the length of a standard run and consistently taking the "harder" path rewards should almost guarantee that you can buyout a shop.
I don't know if the prize money per fight needs to be increased, the shop prices need a global decrease, or some combination of the two, but right now there's barely a reason to take the harder fights.

Thanks for the feedback! We've been running some tests, but won't know how things fully hit in the finished product until we get it out into the world's hands and see what people think. We can make some tweaks and adjustments once we've gotten some more eyes on everything.
