Hi! I'm running into a crash with "How many dudes?" and could use some help.
What happened: I was playing the game, and it crashed. After relaunching, the game now crashes every single time on launch (or shortly after) with the same error message before closing.
The error mentions something about a buffer/desync issue in the cloud sync system (o_hmd_cloud_syncer). Here's the exact error:
ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object o_hmd_cloud_syncer: buffer_get_size argument 1 incorrect type (undefined) expecting a buffer at gml_Script_buffer_to_text (line 2) gml_Script_hmd_cloud_import_from_server (line 104) gml_Object_o_hmd_cloud_syncer_Step_0 (line 80)
My guess (could be wrong) is that a cloud save/sync request didn't complete properly before the initial crash, and now the game is stuck trying to read data that doesn't exist, causing it to crash on every launch.
Is there a way to clear or reset the local cloud sync cache/save data so I can get back into the game? Happy to provide more info (OS, save files, etc.) if that helps track it down.
Thanks for your time!
Additional Information
Heyo! Apologies for the long delay in reply, I was out of office.
Can you go ahead and let me know what OS you're on, make sure all your drivers and such are up to date, and go ahead and drop the whole saves folder in here for us to dig through and see what might be up?
