Do you have a massive archive of old builds of your games? Do you ever go look at really old ones?

You all have been talking about the idea that you should rate books/games/movies/tv-shows on how well they do what they are trying to do. Are there any examples of a piece of media where you think that’s done well but you dislike it? (Sorry this is not worded super well... is there a term for that phenomenon?)

Coral Island by Stairway Games recently completed a successful Kickstarter in March by raising over $1.6 million (crazy numbers!). This Stardew Valley-like game is set to release it's Alpha this July. Do you all think crowdfunding is a viable method to developing games, or is would this only work for a specific genre?

Have you gotten any 5-star "1-star reviews"? You know, the opposite of:

Played for 1000 hours, wouldn't recommend. 1 Star.

Whenever I work on a project and find a hook or idea that seems fun and potentially interesting to explore, I instantly lose interest in the project. It's like some performative imposter syndrome, where if I finish it then someone, somewhere might actually see it and... play it (and then tell me their thoughts). When you first started making games, did you have this kind of anxiety? If so, how did you overcome it?

in episode 302, you guys talked about how the Levelhead campaign might have been better if On Time Deliveries were hidden until a player completed the campaign. i agree that would be a good thing to change. do you think you will ever revisit the campaign and tweak some things like that?

What is the balance between implementing new features to test designs, and cleaning up known bugs to make the game less fragile/easier to add more things?

Hey Bros, just wondering how you deal with art scaling now that you aren't using inkscape. What size are things drawn at versus what size they appear in the game? Do you downscale while exporting from CSP, or let GM handle it at runtime, or did Adam make you guys your own thing? Thanks. Also just a reminder you guys are the best.

What's your opinion on NFTs? the future of digital art or another way of tech startups to scam VC's out of money?

You have talked a good deal about the build/deploy, art, and QA/testing automation. What other kinds things have you delegated to your robots so you don't have to think about or do? Anything on the business or personal side of things?

At work, if I have tasks that either seem like they will be difficult, or seem like they will be boring, I have a VERY hard time focusing on them and it takes me much longer than it should. Do y'all ever need to use focus techniques like pomodoro?

The brothers three have demonstrated they've been dunking on everyone this 2021, but most of these dunks are gamedev or devblog related. So what's the coolest way you've dunked on everyone outside of your work lives?

How do you keep your hot drinks hot? Mug warmer, insulated mug, none of the above?

Did something change ya'lls opinions on sponsored streams or were they just easier to get around the 1st year anniversary of levelhead? From what I recall you all thought they were not worth it so I'm curious if you got new information that convinced you to do them.

So I got a ps5 a couple months ago. While most of the hype and claims from sony were BS or highly exaggerated, the haptic feedback on the controller lives up to the hype 100% and is the best improvement to me. What're your thoughts on marketing hype vs facts? Expectations vs reality? What's the most outrageous claim y'all have made in life that ended up being 100% bullshit?

What are your thoughts on the importance of loosely coupled code and SOLID principles? Have your thoughts changed as you have completed more games?

Have you seen this trailer for a movie coming out in June 2021. It's called Hero Mode. It is about a fantasy of game dev heroics. I work in the industry and I fear this is showing young future devs the wrong perspective. I would like to hear your perspective on this. I know heroics are something BScotch have encountered and now avoid. IMDB Page

What would a Crashlands Sea Shanty sound like?

Since you are also working a lot in front of your PCs and probably spend a fair amount with gaming or further hone your skills after work. What is your current mice and keyboard setup? Do you plan to switch to an ergonomic setup, if not already and which would/have you choose(n)?

    Beekie Boppaboop @2ajwto asked

Y’all have been focused on making the art for CL2 maximally effective, and making sure that the game design is done for the most fun player experience. However, you guys haven’t talked about the writing and the story for the game. I’m guessing this was done to avoid spoilers, but that still leaves me wondering: how are you guys handling all them words and that juicy (pun intended) plot?

    aradarbel10 @xxqtsv asked

hi butterbros! long time, first time... 😄 I remember when levelhead used to get those blog posts while you were developing it in early access to show off upcoming features and development progress. do you think CL2 will get that sort of devlogs at any point in the future, or is it too big of a commitment? or maybe you'd just rather spend that time on actually developing it?

    RoninGameDev @22kd9c asked

When I tell people I am a video game developer the most common question I get is, "have you worked on anything I have heard of?" Do you bros ever get this question? How do you handle it? because this question baffles me from every angle.
