Someone Tried To Access My Account

So long as no one has access to your BscotchID password, your logged-in devices, or to any of the email accounts associated with your BscotchID or Rumpus accounts, it is unlikely that someone will be able to access to your account. Make sure you are practicing good personal digital security by updating your BscotchID and email account passwords, and make sure that your Rumpus account only lists your own email addresses. Someone Stole My Account

That's terrible, and we're sorry to hear that. People can be the worst. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about stolen accounts, since it means you can no longer verify that the account was yours. Please review our Security page to better understand how to keep any future account safe. If you are confident that the account hijacking was something you could not have easily prevented, please let us know what happened so we can try to prevent it from happening to others.
